Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be............Psalm 139:16
A special thank you to our Sunday School Kindergarten Class and their teacher, Nicole Riley, who all did a superlative job in hosting the March 3, 2013 Coffee Hour following the Divine Liturgy.
Former Parishioners Natalie Bradford, (and Church Secretary) and her son Warrant Officer First Class Colin Bradford, newly commissioned and who will be beginning Blackhawk Helicopter Flight School on September 1, 2014. All of us at St. Gregory's are proud of you Colin! Colin previously served two combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq as a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps ("Semper Fi").
Below, Colin Bradford with his parents after completing his first flight at the controls of a helicopter earlier this year at Fort Rucker, Alabama. The flight was with a flight instructor aboard but Colin did all the flying from takeoff to landing with a few flights around the airfield. Colin as of 5/19/15 has passed the next "check ride" and oral exam for "visual flying" this type of helicopter and will now be beginning "instrument flying" in the same type of helicopter.

Natalie had earlier sent the below photograph of four of St. Gregory's Southerners. Left to right, Bob and Natalie and Becky and Konstantine visiting the beautiful Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, VA. Natalie indicated they had a fun time and it is sure nice that they live close to us in Virginia Beach!
